January Federal Order Class III Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The USDA announced that the January Federal Order Class III milk price rose to $20.38 per hundredweight.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that was $2.02 higher for the month, and $4.34 more than January 2021. For the entire year, the Class III price averaged $17.08 throughout 2021.
Prices peaked at $18.96 in May, but fell as low as $15.75 during February. During the 2020 calendar year, the Class III price averaged $18.16. Meanwhile, the Class IV component price was $3.21 higher for the month at $23.09, and $9.34 over the previous year.
Earlier this week, Wisconsin's all milk price for December was announced at $21.60 cwt., which was $1.30 higher than last month's price, and $3.50 above December 2020.
