Marshfield Woman Receives Threats Toward Family Member

A 24 year old Marshfield woman called to report that she had received messages from a 34 year old friend regarding the mother of his children.

According to the Marshfield Police Department, the messages had referenced a firearm and threats towards the mother. The victim was contacted and was unaware of the messages or that the man was upset with her.

Probation and Parole was contacted and issued a warrant due to the threatening comments. The man was taken into custody on a probation hold and a charge of Disorderly Conduct-Domestic will be referred to the Wood County District Attorney's office. 72 hour no contact enforced.
