Former Chair of Republican Party Says He'll Cooperate With Committee Investigating 2020 Election

(Bob Hague, WRN) The former chair of the state Republican party says he’ll cooperate with the committee investigating the 2020 presidential election.

The House January 6th Select Committee has subpoenaed former Wisconsin Republican Party Chair Andrew Hitt, as well as De Pere Alderwoman Kelly Ruh.

Fourteen subpoenas issued to Republican elected officials and activists in 7 states, seek information on electors who falsely cast their votes for Donald Trump even though Joe Biden won their states.

Hitt told WisPolitics-dot-com that he’ll “cooperate with the committee’s request.” The committee alleges the effort to cast Wisconsin’s 10 electoral college votes for Trump was an attempt to undermine the certification that Biden won the election here.
