Latest Legal Move Regarding Absentee Ballot Drop Boxes

(Bob Hague, WRN) There’s yet another move in the ongoing legal maneuvering over absentee ballot drop boxes in Wisconsin.
Just two days after a state appeals court ruled that drop boxes are allowed for February 15 elections around the state, the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty on Wednesday asked the State Supreme Court to immediately step in.
WILL filed an emergency order to bypass the stay issued by the 4th District Court of Appeals, on a ruling by a Waukesha County judge who said drop boxes are not allowed.
It’s not clear whether the justices will issue an immediate ruling on this case, which WILL first field last summer on behalf of two suburban Milwaukee men.
