Man Arrested After Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash in Marshfield

Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 -- 1:00 PM

On 01/23/22 around 6:13pm Marshfield police officers were dispatched to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash near the intersection of N Central Ave and Kalsched St.

The driver, a 50-year-old Marshfield male, was arrested for Operating While Under the Influence causing injury, and was subsequently transported to the Wood County Jail.

The pedestrian was transported by Marshfield Fire and Rescue to the Marshfield Medical Center and is currently receiving treatment for injuries. The Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting in a reconstruction of the crash. There are no further details at this time.
