One Person Killed in Structure Fire in Marshfield

One person is dead after a structure fire in Marshfield.

According to the Marshfield Fire Department, the fire occurred at a trailer at 3401 Frey Court. Initially, authorities were unsure if there was anybody inside the home.

As the Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire and reduce the smoke, a body was discovered inside the home. There was also extensive heat and smoke damage to the home, around $15,000 to the structure and $10,000 to the contents.

The Department did note the trailer had large amounts of belongings and refuse inside the structure. The Fire Department had no injuries on their part. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family.
