Man Arrested in Marshfield for Running From Police

A man was arrested in Marshfield Friday afternoon for fleeing from officers.
According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, they approached an individual for expired registration. The man then fled on foot before finally complying with officers. The man had multiple warrants out for his arrest. He had also given Marshfield officers a false name and was in possession of methamphetamine.
He was taken to the Wood County Jail and officers are requesting charges of possession of methamphetamine, resisting an officer, and bail jumping with the Wood County District Attorney.
