Three Killed in Car vs. Semi Crash in Jackson County

Three people were killed in a car vs. semi crash in Jackson County.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:36am early Saturday morning on Highway 54 at Andrews Road near Black River Falls. An initial investigation has indicated that a semi was leaving the parking lot of the Kwik Trip and attempting to cross Highway 54.
While attempting to turn, a car with three occupants was heading west on Highway 54 and struck the trailer. When authorities arrived, the three occupants of the car were dead. The crash is under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The three people killed were identified as 34-year-old Robert Hopinka and 36-year-old Tyler Decorah of Black River Falls and 35-year-old Jorden Vidana of Onalaska.
Assisting the Wisconsin State Patrol were Black River Falls Police Department, Black River Falls Rescue, Jackson County Sheriff Department, and Jackson County Highway Department.
