Senator Tammy Baldwin Calls Out Wisconsin Republicans During Speech in the Senate

(Raymond Neupert, WRN) US Senator Tammy Baldwin says state legislative Republicans are wasting taxpayers' money on their continued elections probe. 

US Senator Tammy Baldwin called out state legislative Republicans on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday. Baldwin says Speaker Robin Vos is wasting people's time and money. 

"Despite all of this, the Republican leadership of the Wisconsin legislature authorized yet another sham process to question the integrity of the 2020 elections, with a budget of at least 680,000 of Wisconsin taxpayer dollars."

Baldwin says the whole effort is a sham being perpetrated by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos. "I would be remiss if I didn't point out that this unnecessary partisan charade came shortly after the former president called out these Republican leaders by name for trying to prevent a forensic audit of the election results. This was no mere coincidence."

Baldwin specifically called out former State Supreme Court Justice Mike Gableman in her floor comments on Wednesday. "Gableman has issued wide-ranging subpoenas to local officials in Wisconsin's largest cities, and even threatened to jail them if they fail to comply with this taxpayer-funded promotion of Trump's big lie."

Baldwin says the only reason that the probe is taking place is that Former President Trump complained about Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and others for not attempting to overturn Wisconsin's election.
