A former Colby woman found guilty, by a jury, of murdering her husband is now requesting a new lawyer.
Cindy Schulz-Juedes was charged with murdering husband Ken Juedes back in December of 2019. Ken was found dead back in August of 2006 from two shotgun wounds. He was found by Cindy and she had long been a person of interest. New details regarding the case is what finally brought the charges forward in 2019.
At the end of October, a jury found Schulz-Juedes guilty of 1st-degree intentional homicide and obstructing officers. She’s scheduled for sentencing March 16th. She made a request for a new attorney. A motion hearing for that is scheduled for February 9th.
