Wisconsin Supreme Court Schedules Marathon Session Regarding Electoral Maps
Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 -- 11:00 AM
(Raymond Neupert, WRN) The state supreme court has scheduled a marathon session to handle all sides when it comes to Wisconsin's pending electoral maps.
The court ordered oral arguments to be held in the elections mapping case next Wednesday. That session is scheduled to last at least 5 hours as 8 different groups argue for and against various maps on offer to the Court.
Among those presenting arguments include Governor Evers, the Republican legislative caucus, a number of private citizens, a number of voting rights groups, and the state's Republican congressional caucus. It's unclear when a decision might be made in the case.
