Member-Owners for AgCountry Farm Credit Services Will Soon Distribute $76 Million in Cash Dividend

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) Member-owners of AgCountry Farm Credit Services will soon distribute a record $76 million in cash dividend.

According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, for the third consecutive year, the farm credit cooperative has achieved its patronage goal of a one percent dividend on all eligible business. "It truly pays to do business with AgCountry Farm Credit Services," states Board Chair Ed Hegland. "As a farmer myself, I can confidently say that AgCountry's dividend program sets us apart from other lenders."

Of the $76 million being paid out, about 88 percent of the funds come from AgCountry while $9 million was earned from Farm Credit Services of North Dakota, which merged with the company on January 1. Since the cooperative's patronage program launched in 2014, over $335 million has been paid out to AgCountry patrons.

AgCountry is a member-owned, locally-governed lending institution that provides credit, financial and insurance services to farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses in eastern North Dakota, western Minnesota and central Wisconsin.
