Wisconsin Microbrewery Honoring Betty White
Thursday, January 6th, 2022 -- 10:00 AM
(Terry Bell, WRN) A Wisconsin microbrewery is honoring Betty White with her own namesake beer.
The Commerce Street Brewery in Mineral Point has offered its “Blonde Betty” on tap for years. It was a tradition for customers to buy a beer, so that if she ever visited, her free drinks would be waiting for her. The 99 year-old entertainer died last week.
Throughout the month of January, proceeds from “Blonde Betty” sales will go to a charity benefiting animals, which is a cause White championed. White’s husband Allen Ludden was born in, and buried in, Mineral Point.
