Thorp Man Enters Plea for Child Sexual Assault Charges

A Thorp man entered a plea in Clark County Court for several counts of child sexual assault and abuse charges.

Kyle Zacharias was charged with sexually assaulting two young boys back in November of 2020.  However, it was discovered that Zacharias had sexually assaulted 8 other boys between the ages of 8 and 10 years old. The assaults allegedly began back in 2016 and continued into late 2020.

During his plea hearing, he pleaded guilty to several charges including three counts of 1st degree child sexual assault, 3rd degree sexual assault, two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child, child enticement, attempted 1st degree child sexual assault, two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child, and attempted 2nd degree sexual assault of a child.

He’s scheduled for sentencing on March 30th.
