More Crashes on Wednesday Due to Winter Weather

Multiple crashes were reported on I-94 Wednesday morning due to snow and ice covered roads.

One crash occurred on I-94, just south of Highway 53 in Eau Claire. Icy roads caused a semi to slide off the road, which caused several other secondary crashes. Several people were hurt in the incident. Also, two semi-trucks crashed on I-94 between Osseo and Northfield.

One truck slid off a steep embankment. However, it was stated that weather was not a factor in that accident.
