Tomah Health Suspending Urgent Care
Thursday, December 30th, 2021 -- 11:01 AM
Tomah Health is suspending Urgent Care starting January 1st.
According to a press release from Tomah Health, it’s being suspended due to extremely high patient demand caused in part by large numbers of COVID-19 patients. The Department has seen up to 90 cases per day. With the suspension, it will allow Tomah Health Staff to take care of the high number of emergency department cases.
Urgent Care is normally provided at Tomah Health to patients with non-life threatening illnesses or injuries from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week without an appointment.
