Wisconsin State Patrol Reminds Residents to Slow Down When Roads are Bad

After a busy 24-hour span for the Wisconsin State Patrol, they remind drivers to take things slow during bad weather.
Within 24 hours, from 10am Tuesday, December 28th to 10am Wednesday, December 29th, the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to 133 crash investigations, including one fatal crash and five crashes with injuries, as well as responding to calls for 136 slide-offs and 121 motorist assists statewide. This follows the large crash that occurred on I-94 near Osseo just before Christmas.
The State Patrol said the majority of these crashes have been caused by snowy and icy conditions. The Wisconsin State Patrol reminds motorists to take things slow when roads are in poor condition.
