Communities Around Wisconsin Coping With Snow Plow Driver Shortage
Thursday, December 30th, 2021 -- 9:00 AM
(Bob Hague, WRN) Communities around Wisconsin are coping with a snow plow driver shortage.
For example, Madison is short by about a dozen or so drivers. Streets division spokesperson Bryan Johnson spoke with 27 News. “There might some things on the edges that are just a little bit slower. Maybe the bus stops get cleared off a little bit slower, or the sidewalks that the city maintains have to take a little bit longer to get to.”
Madison received three and a half inches of snow Wednesday, in what was the first significant snowfall of the season for much of southern Wisconsin.
