Wisconsin's COVID Vaccination Rates Are Flat
Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 -- 10:01 AM
(Terry Bell, WRN) Wisconsin’s COVID-19 vaccination rate is flat.
Despite a statewide advisory urging people to get vaccinated, only a little over 61-and-half-percent of Wisconsin’s population have had even one dose. That’s a little less than three-and-a-half million people.
Wisconsin is heading into the last week of the year averaging just over 25-thousand COVID-19 shots a-week. The state Department of Health Services also reports an average of about 17- thousand booster shots a-week.
Only Dane, Menominee, and Door counties have vaccination rates of over 70-percent.
