DNR Invites You to Take a Hike (In a Good Way)

(Terry Bell, WRN) The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources invites you to start the new year with a hike.

This year marks the 11th annual “First Day Hike” at state parks and recreation areas across the United States. Individuals and families can start the new year connecting with nature in the outdoors. Guided hikes will be available at several properties.

You’ll need a vehicle admission sticker to get in. If you can’t hike on New Year’s Day, there’ll be more opportunities to hike by moonlight or on candlelit trails throughout the winter.
