Two People Hurt in One Vehicle Accident in Wood County

Two people were injured in a crash on Friday in the Town of Seneca in Wood County.

According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, around 2:30pm on Friday, they received a call of a one-vehicle traffic accident with an individual ejected from the vehicle.

The initial investigation has determined the vehicle was eastbound on Highway 73, when it left the right side of the roadway, overturned, and ejected the driver before coming to rest.

The driver was transported from the scene by Life Link Ill and the one passenger in the vehicle was transported from the scene by United Ambulance. The driver and passenger in the vehicle were identified as Walter D. Bonini, 55, and Kathaleen M. Stone, 55.

Wood County Rescue and Vesper Fire Department also assisted on scene.
