Osseo Man Sentenced for Fleeing an Officer

An Osseo man arrested after a high speed chase was sentenced in Eau Claire County Court on Friday.
According to the Altoona Police Department, they requested help in locating Orion Rogers. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department noticed a vehicle matching the description of Rogers’ vehicle.
The department tried to initiate a traffic stop, but Rogers fled. Eventually Rogers failed to negotiate a turn and was apprehended. Rogers was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, substantial battery.
Two other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 4 years of probation. He must also pay restitution.
