Marshfield Fire Chief Celebrates Last Day on the Job

Marshfield’s Fire Chief had his last day on the job on Friday.

Chief Scott Owen has been with the station for over 25 years. He said "I am proud of each and every member in this department. We have come a long way in the 25 years that I've been here. These are by far the best co-workers that I've ever had," Owen said.

He said he’s looking forward to retirement, but it is bittersweet. Chief Owen said he still plans to hang around and visit with other retirees and current firefighters to see how things are going for them.
