JENSEN CORRUPTION TRIAL - DAY 3
Friday, February 24th, 2006 -- 11:15 AM
By Andrew Beckett, WRNFormer employees of the Assembly Republican Caucus took to the stand Thursday in day three of the corruption trial of State Representative Scott Jensen and former aide Sherry Schultz.
Those workers shared stories about campaign work they did on state time; which included designing campaign materials and fundraiser invitations.
Assistant Attorney General Roy Korte questioned former graphic designer Kacy Hack about work she did for the caucus, which included designing invitations for Jensen's campaign.
Korte also questioned former caucus analyst Rhonda Baker about guidelines that were in place for campaign-related e-mails that were sent out during the work day. She agreed when asked if workers were told to avoid mentioning campaign work while using e-mail in the office. Several witnesses have testified about efforts made to conceal any campaign work they may have been doing. The trial continues today.
