One Person Arrested After Drug Bust in Wood County

Over $140,000 worth of drugs seized after the execution of a search warrant in the Town of Saratoga.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, the search warrant was executed on Thursday after a long investigation by the sheriff's department, Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force.
The drugs seized include 120 grams of Fentanyl, 315 grams of Cocaine, 208 pills of Ecstasy, and suspected marijuana. The street value of the drugs ranges from $132,000-$142,000. Also, a large quantity of high valued jewelry, around $16,000, was also seized.
Kristie Ann Wallace was arrested due to her connection with the items that were found at her residence. Wallace is facing numerous charges and the investigation of the incident continues.
The Wisconsin Rapids Police and Fire Department, Port Edwards Police Department, and Wood County Human Services all assisted during the incident.
