Slippery conditions lead to a two vehicle accident in Marshfield on Thanksgiving.
According to a report from the Marshfield Police Department, just after 10am on Thanksgiving morning, icy conditions caused a vehicle to slide into an ambulance on West McMillian Street.
The driver of the car stated that she was traveling west when she came upon a slight curve, but, due to ice on the road, her vehicle didn’t turn when she turned the steering wheel. This caused her to slide into the ambulance traveling east.
There was damage to both vehicles. The ambulance was not in emergency mode, but did have a patient with them. The patient was uninjured in the accident. The driver of the ambulance did state they felt the driver of the car was going too fast for conditions.
