Tomah Police Department Concludes Threat at Tomah High School Not Credible

The Tomah Police Department has concluded that a threat towards the Tomah High School was not credible.

According to the Department, a post was made on social media earlier this week that included a picture of a student with a threatening caption. The Department stated the student in the picture didn’t create the image.

It was a screenshot taken by another student with the caption added later. Several students involved with posts were questioned and admitted to making it.

The Tomah Police Department determined the threat was not credible and students and staff were not in any danger. None of the students involved were named by the school or by the police.
