Wisconsin Commodity Prices for October

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The average price received by farmers for corn during October in Wisconsin was $4.79 per bushel.
According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, that's according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was $1.03 below the September price, but $1.42 over last October.
Soybeans averaged 10-cents lower for the month at $11.80 per bushel, but were $2.25 above last year. Oat prices were $4.04, was 86-cents above September and $1.61 more than October 2020.
And the all hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $147.00 per ton, unchanged from the previous month, but $12.00 below the previous year. Alfalfa hay prices were $164.00, about $4.00 more than September, but $6.00 below 2020.
The average price received for other hay was $110.00 per ton. This was unchanged from the September price, but $22.00 lower than October of last year.
