Wisconsin Hospitals Once Again Full of COVID Patients
Monday, November 29th, 2021 -- 11:01 AM
(Raymond Neupert, WRN) Wisconsin's hospitals are once again full of COVID-19 patients.
The Department of Health Services is reporting that 94 percent of the state's ICU beds are currently in use, and 95 percent of other hospital beds are also occupied.
Officials say this makes it much harder to treat patients with other issues, such as serious injuries or other seasonal diseases, and that health care workers continue to be overburdened. They are repeating their requests for people to get their vaccines in order to slow the spread of the virus.
