Wisconsin's Chief Medical Officer Dispels False Information Regarding the COVID Vaccine and Pregnancies

(Bob Hague, WRN) A persistent myth surrounding COVID-19 vaccines is that they’ll lead to infertility or endanger future pregnancies.
Wisconsin’s chief medical officer Dr. Ryan Westergaard says neither is true. “Those myths are important to be addressed, and we encourage people to talk to health care providers as part of pre-natal care, to decide when to get vaccinated. There’s been no evidence . . . of any risk to pregnant people or to unborn children, or any evidence that it effects fertility or the ability to become pregnant.”
Recently published research by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicates pregnant women and their babies are at increased risk of severe outcomes from COVID-19, including death and stillbirths.
