Wood County Enters COVID-19 Crisis Mode

Wood County enters crisis mode after a week of high rates of COVID-19 cases. As of Thursday, Wood County had 568 active COVID-19 cases and a 7 day average of 66 cases per day.
According to WAOW-TV, in a press release, the Wood County Health Department says their current rate is higher than any point during 2021. The department officially moved to crisis mode on Friday.
Wood County is reminding residents who test positive for COVID-19 to stay home. They say to isolate for a minimum of 10 days from the start of your symptoms or the date you tested if you are asymptomatic.
