DAIRY SCHOOL PROPOSED FOR WESTERN MARATHON CO.
Monday, February 13th, 2006 -- 8:59 AM
Future dairy farmers could get some hands-on learning experience at a dairy school proposed for central Wisconsin. A group of farmers, business people and educators wants to build a school called Dairyland State Academy in western Marathon County. It would be modeled after a working farm. The organizers hope to raise enough money to open the school by September of 2007. Organizers say they'll look to technical colleges, universities and the business and agricultural communities for help.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
