Area Holiday Parades Begin This Week

Christmas is more than a month away, but the Marshfield News Herald reports that central Wisconsin holiday parades are ready to take to the streets. Bundle up, grab your hand warmers and your favorite hot beverage, and kick off the holiday season by enjoying these local parades.

Let It Snow 2021 Holiday Parade, Stevens Point: 6 p.m. Nov. 17, along Main Street.  For more information: Facebook or downtownpointwi.com.

Downtown Marshfield Holiday Parade, Marshfield: 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18, on South Central Avenue, between Second and Ninth streets.  For more information: 715-387-3229 or mainstreetmarshfield.com.

Rekindle the Spirit Holiday Parade, Wisconsin Rapids: 5:45 p.m. Nov. 24, along Grand Avenue from Third Avenue to Lincoln Street. Lighting ceremony before the parade at 5:45 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park, 101 First St.   For more information: 715-423-1830, Facebook or wisconsinrapidschamber.com.
