A sentencing date has been set for a former Colby woman found guilty, by a jury, of murdering her husband.

Cindy Schulz-Juedes was charged with murdering husband Ken Juedes back in December of 2019. Ken was found dead back in August of 2006 from two shotgun wounds. He was found by Cindy and she had long been a person of interest.

New details regarding the case is what finally brought the charges forward in 2019. They found Schulz-Juedes guilty of 1st-degree intentional homicide and obstructing officers.

A sentencing date has been set for March 18th. Her trial was initially scheduled out until later this month.
