Spencer FFA and FFA Alumni Organizing Event for Former Member Elected as National FFA Central Region Vice President

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) The Spencer FFA and FFA Alumni are organizing a 'Welcome Home Celebration' this Saturday for Cortney Zimmerman, who was elected as the National FFA Central Region Vice President during last week's National FFA Convention.

According to the Wisconsin Ag Connection, the event will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Spencer High School. A short program will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception with snacks and fellowship.

Organizers say all are welcome to attend the gathering. Zimmerman is a 2020 graduate of Spencer High School and served the past year as a Wisconsin State FFA Officer, representing Section 7.

She will spend the next year traveling throughout the country leading agriculture students and engaging top leaders in business, government and education. She is the eighth Wisconsin FFA member in history to be elected as a national officer.
