Alma Center Man Sentenced for Crash Near Train Tracks in Jackson County

An Alma Center man that crashed his vehicle in Jackson County was sentenced in Jackson County Court.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in May, Jessie Hoff was driving south on Highway 12/27 when he drove off the lane. The vehicle came to rest on its side near the train tracks north of Black River Falls.
Hoff had to be removed from the vehicle by the Black River Falls Fire Department. Hoff was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, 4th offense operating with PAC, two other charges were dismissed and read in, and another was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion.
Hoff was sentenced to 275 days in jail and 3 years of probation. His license was also revoked for 36 months and he must have an ignition interlock device for 36 months.
