Monroe Woman Sentenced for OWI in Jackson County

A Monroe woman arrested after operating a motor vehicle under the influence with two children in the vehicle was sentenced in Jackson County Court.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, at the end of February of this year, they initially stopped Larissa Humphrey for traveling 101 mph on I-94 in Jackson County. Troopers performed field sobriety tests on Humphrey after noticing signs of impairment.
Humphrey admitted to using marijuana an hour before being pulled over. Humphrey had a total of 4 passengers in the vehicle with two of them being under the age of 16.
During her court appearance on Monday, she pleaded guilty to 1st offense OWI with children under 16 in the car. Two other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail, her license will be revoked for 12 months, and she must pay $1,379 in fines and costs.
