Trial For Former Colby Woman Continues

The trial for a former Colby woman accused of murdering her husband wrapped up its second week on Friday.

Cindy Schulz-Juedes was charged with murdering husband Ken Juedes back in December of 2019. Ken was found dead back in August of 2006 from two shotgun wounds. He was found by Cindy and she had long been a person of interest. New details regarding the case is what finally brought the charges forward in 2019.

The first week and a half of the trial, which began last week Monday, was used by the prosecutor. The defense began their arguments toward the end of this week. The trial is scheduled to last until November 12th, but it’s unclear if it will take that long.
