The Highground Holds Successful Fall Bake Sale

On Saturday, October 2, The Highground and its “Sweet Platoon” hosted their annual Fall Bake Sale with a tremendous turn out.

Sharing the day with Legacy Stone Ceremonies helped boost their efforts, raising $1,071 as many guests took advantage of the bake sale to feed their sweet tooth.

All proceeds from the Fall Bake Sale are designated for maintaining and improving 2021-2022 experiences for Veterans from all eras through events such as the annual Veterans Reunions.

Earlier this year, the Vietnam Reunion included the flight of a Vietnam Era Huey helicopter. For some, the appearance meant support, rescue and evacuation.

The Highground and the Veterans we serve are sincerely grateful for the support that our guests and bakers provide, making it possible to continue the mission to Honor our Veterans as well as Educate and provide Healing opportunities for all.
