GREENWOOD/LOYAL STUDY TAKES ANOTHER STEP
Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 -- 8:42 AM
Loyal superintendent Graeme Williams said both he, and Greenwood superintendent Marcia Hochalter, came away impressed after meeting last week with a representative from Warner and Associates, a Twin Cities based firm that specializes in these types of studies.Originally referred to as a ?consolidation feasibility study?, school officials more recently referred to the joint effort as a ?long-range planning? study. And originally billed to cost between $15,000 and $20,000 per district, Williams says it now appears the comprehensive study will cost less than $10,000 per district.
The two superintendents agreed to talk over the options with their boards. Greenwood?s next meets on February 8th; Loyal next meets on January 15th.
