One Person Killed in Two Vehicle Accident Near Thorp

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Thorp on Friday.

According to the Thorp Police Department, a crash occurred around 2:49pm on South Washington Street at Elm Street in Thorp. The initial investigation stated a minivan was traveling north on South Washington when it crossed the centerline in the southbound lane of traffic. A utility truck traveling north hit the minivan headon.

The driver of the minivan was killed in the accident. The driver of the truck was not injured. The Thorp Police Department was assisted by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Thorp Fire and Ambulance Service, and the Clark County Coroner.
