Highest Coronavirus Activity in Wisconsin in Rural Areas
Thursday, October 14th, 2021 -- 10:00 AM
(Terry Bell, WRN) The highest coronavirus activity in Wisconsin is in rural areas.
Health officials say 17 Wisconsin counties have critically-high case activity. Many of those counties are in western Wisconsin or the Fox Valley. They all have positivity rates above ten-percent; which may be due as much to low populations as infections.
The Department of Health Services says the rest of Wisconsin hasn’t seen any significant change in its coronavirus activity levels.
