Wisconsin Residents Needing Assistance on Utility Bills this Winter Encouraged to Create Payment Plans Now

(Raymond Neupert, WRN) The Public Service Commission is recommending people get in contact with their utilities sooner rather than later as heating prices are expected to spike this winter.
The P-S-C says customers that are expecting to be unable to pay their bills should get payment plans worked out with their utility as soon as possible. While Wisconsin has a moratorium on cutting off people's utilities in the winter, you will still have to pay back those bills.
Officials say it's best to get ahead of things now instead of waiting for spring when the moratorium ends.
