Wood County Sheriff's Department Releases Cause of Death for Port Edwards Man

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department has determined the cause of death for a 60-year-old Port Edwards man.

According to the Department, around 6am Saturday they received a call of a man who wasn’t breathing and had no pulse. They found the man dead in a bedroom with head trauma. The Department has concluded the man died of natural causes and the case is not a homicide.

The Wisconsin Crime Laboratory, State Patrol, and the Department of Criminal Investigation assisted Wood County in the investigation. The man’s name has not been released.
