Local Hospitals Seeing New Challenges With COVID Hospitalizations Spiking

With COVID-19 hospitalizations spiking, local hospitals are facing new challenges.

Just this week, the Marshfield Clinic System has seen 80 hospitalizations. Those numbers are lower than last year, but the degree of illness patients are experiencing are much worse. The intensity and severity of illness is greater and younger people are experiencing the illness.

With hospitals around the country running out of space, Marshfield Clinic has been asked to take patients. Marshfield Clinic is asking you to do your part in stopping the spread by masking up and making good choices.
