Moose and Maggie are this week's Pets of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Badger Animal Clinic and Courteous Canine in Black River Falls.

Names: Moose & Maggie

Ages: 11-Months-Old

Breeds:

We have a gorgeous pair of dogs to share this week as the CCHS Pet of the Week!  Moose and Maggie are 11-month old siblings.  They came to CCHS from another overcrowded Shelter. Both have a short-haired coat.

Maggie is tan and Moose is brindle, and both have dark muzzles with a little bit of white on their chest.  Maggie weighs 48.5# and Moose weighs 54.5#.  These two are really nice dogs.  They enjoy being with people and have easy-going personalities.

They have lived together previously, and Maggie is especially fond of tummy rubs!  Please apply to adopt one (or both!) today!  Adoption applications can be submitted through our website:  www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

It's time to Empty the Shelters!  CCHS is proud to be participating in this special event sponsored by the Bissell Pet Foundation.  Through this Saturday, October 9th, adoption fees are just $25 on all dogs over 6 months old, cats and kittens!  (Puppies under 6 months of age are excluded.)

Regular adoption policies and procedures still apply.  Check out our wonderful selection of pets and submit your adoption application now so that you can be preapproved to adopt.  Help us to Empty the Shelter at CCHS!

Freeday Friday is back!!  On Friday, October 15th, Freeday Friday will be held at our original CC Resale Store.  It's located  at 600 Hewett St, in downtown Neillsville, on the corner opposite the Post Office. This is our “inconvenience store”.

We have lousy parking, terrible hours, not much is organized and we don’t care if you buy anything or not. And yet, people love it. You know why?........cuz it’s all FREE!  That’s right, bring your bags, boxes, cars, trucks or buggies and fill ‘em up. It’s all free!

We call it Freeday Friday and it’s October 15th  from 9:30 to 11:30 only. It’s not that we’re going out of business, it’s just our way of moving out old stuff to make room for more new stuff.  If it goes well, we’ll do it again. If not, we don’t really care, it’s not like we’re making any money from it anyway. See you at 9:30, October 15th!

CCHS is open again!  We have reopened during our regular hours of 12-3 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.  Adoptions are still being done by appointment, but we are again welcoming visitors and volunteers.

Please stop in and see all of the wonderful cats and dogs we have available for adoption!  Welcome back!! Our CC Resale Store at 815 Hewett Street is open on Saturdays from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

You can learn more about, and adopt, Moose and Maggie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
