(Terry Bell, WRN) Nine Afghan refugees at Fort McCoy have measles.
A spokesperson confirmed the cases Monday but says none of them are active. The measles first showed up at Fort McCoy last week. Everyone who’s been diagnosed with measles is being kept in quarantine.
Doctors say nearly 97-percent of the nearly 13-thousand Afghans are vaccinated for measles and the coronavirus.
