Foxconn to Build Electric Vehicles in Ohio, Not Wisconsin

(Bill Wise, WRN) Foxconn plans to build electric vehicles in Ohio, not Wisconsin.
The electronics giant is working on a deal to buy a production and assembly plant where it will build vehicles for the new automaker, Fisker. Production would start late in 2023. Foxconn says there is still potential for some of that work to be done at its location in Racine County.
The Taiwan-based company says the existing automobile manufacturing facilities, the infrastructure, employees, and a location with “robust” supply chain resources will speed up its ability to get vehicles to the market.
