Milwaukee Applying to Host 2024 Democratic National Convention

(Terry Bell, WRN) Milwaukee is applying to host the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

Milwaukee was supposed to host the D-N-C last year, but the coronavirus struck, and left Milwaukee with a virtual convention that meant no one actually came to the city.

Mayor Tom Barrett says Milwaukee knows what it takes to land the convention, and expects to be a top contender.
