Viterbo Conservation Biology Students Participate in Project RED
Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 -- 11:00 AM
Viterbo University Conservation Biology students braved white caps and strong currents to monitor Black River Bottoms near the confluence of the Mississippi, Black and La Crosse Rivers.
The float was a part of a partnership with Ted Wilson’s class and River Alliance’s Project RED.
Project RED's trained volunteers learn to spot aquatic invasive species and report invasives to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
